Mapping of Imamganj

Imamganj is located in Barabanki district. It is on the border of Barabanki and Faizabad districts. Last 2 km of the road leading to Imamganj is kuchha and broken. It is not really motorable except by diehards.

Imamgang and its neighbouring villages are surrounded by 3 rivers, Rari, Kalyani and Gomti. The nearest to Imamganj is Kalyani. The land level of Imamganj is about 100 feet above the level of Kalyani.

School: Govt. Primary School up to class 5. Neighbouring village Ratauli (1 km) has a school up to class 8. Chakpurva (7 km) has a school up to Intermediate. No lab in any school, therefore, no science teaching within even 20 km radius in any direction.

QC School run by volunteers: From classes 1 to 5. It has 60+ children. This is more than double of the strength of 30 Imamganj children registered in Govt. primary School for the same classes (i.e.1 to 5).
